Fabric Engine : Reflection Angle

I’ve been interested by Fabric Engine for a long time. It seems to be an extremely powerful system that should open a lot of doors for TD work. I decided to have a go at it over the weekend, by making a little test project. The aim was to replicate an old tool I made in maya, that would take a camera position (eye), and a geometry face, and then draw the reflection angle off that face from the eye (The idea being if you wanted a highlight ping on that face, you would place a light at the end of the reflection ray). I wanted to improve on the old tool by having it work in real time, and not draw using maya curves but using fabric engines inline drawing.

The results where pretty successful, as you can see from the gif. I used canvas to make the tool, with a couple of custom kl nodes for the reflection math. Fabric is definitely a tool I will be playing around with in the future!
