I had the opportunity to do some interesting freelance work during Easter. I was asked by Clive Durose Stair Manufacturers to replicate their bespoke staircases in CGI. Special attention was to be placed on replicating the wood as well as creating a system for the client to change different aspects as they please in Photoshop.

I chose to use the Arnold Renderer, which meant a little bit of experimenting but I am quite pleased with the result. Arnold seems like a very capable render package, as well as being relatively easy to use.
