Tergo

After working with Charles Willcocks on the Mustang project he invited me to help out on his short film Tergo.

Tergo is a short film Charles has been making since leaving university. It started out as a lighting exercise for him to produce showreel shots but later transformed into a full-blown production. Throughout the project he has collaborated with many artists, normally from the NCCA, Bournemouth.

The short follows an old cleaning robot (Tergo) on the job tidying up after the populace of London. He is tired, malfunctioning, in need of repair and is close to giving up. We follow Tergo through the city and through his decision to carry on or finish it all. The plates were filmed all over central London by Jack Homan.

I had helped out with bits of lighting and some compositing, as well as a few tools for the project. Here are few stills from the short – hopefully the whole film will come out soon in the future!
